The World Health Organization (WHO) declared this disease a pandemic on March 11, 2020. People have still not forgotten this pandemic. Now once again this deadly virus has set foot in Japan, which is considered the master of technology in the world.

Japan grapples with new variants

Corona spread chaos all over the world. People are not able to forget that difficult time and the fear of the virus still remains in their minds. Now once again the increasing cases of COVID-19 in Japan have spread panic among the people. Health experts have warned that Japan is battling a new variant of Corona. The 11th wave of COVID-19 infection is intensifying in the country.

The number of infected patients was continuously increasing

According to Kazuhiro Takeda, chairman of the Japan Infectious Diseases Association, the KP.3 variant is spreading rapidly in the country. Takeda further said that this variant is spreading rapidly this time among those who have been vaccinated as well as those who were infected in the previous wave. The next week will be important as officials will monitor the spread and impact of the variant. It is worth noting that the number of patients infected with Kovid-19 in Japan is continuously increasing. However, there is relief in many cases as they are not serious. The symptoms of this new KP.3 variant include fever, sore throat, loss of smell and taste, headache and fatigue.

The first case in Japan was reported in early 2020

According to the health ministry, infections across Japan rose 1.39 times, or 39 percent, from July 1 to 7. It should also be noted here that since the first case of COVID-19 was reported in Japan in early 2020, the East Asian country has recorded a total of 34 million infections and nearly 75,000 related deaths.
