Khunti, 30 October (Hindustan Reporter). Under the direction of Jhalsa Ranchi, under the guidance of Principal District and Sessions Judge cum DALSA President Rasikesh Kumar, a legal awareness camp was organized at Model School Khunti on Wednesday by the District Legal Services Authority, Khunti.
In the program, Dalsa Secretary Rajshree Aparna Kujur, while giving information about the legal rights to the school students, said that Dalsa provides free and competent legal aid and services to the people belonging to the last rung of the society. Besides, awareness programs are also organized from time to time for children and women in need of care and protection.
He said that the assembly election campaign has just started. In this, all of us, being Indian citizens, should be conscious and choose the right candidate, so that not a single family is left in our area which is deprived of the government schemes. Only then will our family, society, state and country develop. It is important for every child to be aware of the law from now on.
Madan Mohan Ram, while discussing the adverse effects of drug abuse on children in the society, said that due to drug abuse, people have to face problems economically, socially, physically and mentally. We all have to be aware of our rights and duties, so that we can avoid the ill effects of drugs. Prativanti Mary from Depth NGO Sini gave information to the students about POCSO.
