Ranji Trophy winner gets Rs 5 crore
Last year, the BCCI had increased the prize money for domestic tournaments and the Ranji Trophy winner was given a cash prize of Rs 5 crore. The Irani Cup prize money was also doubled and the winner got Rs 50 lakh instead of Rs 25 lakh and the runner-up got Rs 25 lakh. The Duleep Trophy now sees the champion getting Rs 1 crore and the runner-up Rs 50 lakh, while the Vijay Hazare Trophy winner gets Rs 1 crore and the runner-up Rs 50 lakh.

The Indian team won the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 by defeating South Africa by 7 runs. India has won the T20 World Cup trophy after 17 years. Rohit Sharma became the second captain under whose captaincy Team India won the T20 World Cup trophy.
