BCCI gives relief to players against coach Gautam Gambhir's opinion: After becoming the new coach of the Indian cricket team, Gautam Gambhir is not in favor of giving relief to the players. The team coach seems to be very unhappy with the new rule of BCCI. Gambhir does not want any player to play in only one format. Gambhir believes that if you are playing for the country then you should be ready to play in all three formats. It is not in favor of rest or workload management in any particular series.

The board made a new rule

BCCI has given a big relief to three senior players of the Indian team. But Gambhir is not at all in favor of this decision. According to the new rule of the board, the players who are not playing for India will have to play domestic matches in their free time. Coach Gambhir is not in favor of this rule. He believes that players should always be available for the country and their state team.

Three players were rested

According to the BCCI rules, every player must play at least one domestic match to play one Test match. But Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma, star batsman Virat Kohli and fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah will not need to play domestic matches to make a place in the Test team.

Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer have not been given central contracts

According to BCCI secretary Jay Shah, playing domestic cricket will help the players get into better shape and prepare for Test cricket. Last year, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan were dropped from the central contract for not playing domestic matches. And they also lost their place in the team.

Upcoming Test series against Bangladesh and New Zealand

Test series against Bangladesh and New Zealand at home in August. Duleep Trophy matches will also be held in August, which will give players a chance to prepare before the series. Questions are being raised about the exemption given to some players in the new rules. It remains to be seen whether this rule helps improve Indian Test cricket or not.
