How will Rs 125 crore be distributed?
The Rs 125 crore given by BCCI to the winning team will be distributed among the players and support staff. According to media reports, out of Rs 125 crore, a maximum of Rs 5 crore will be given to the 15-member team and the team's head coach. After this, a maximum of Rs 2.50 crore will be distributed to the batting, bowling and fielding coaches.
Selectors and reserve players will also get money
The five-member selector who selects the team will also be given Rs 1 crore from this amount. Along with this, the four players selected as reserve players in the team will also be given an amount of Rs 1 crore. This includes Rinku Singh, Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan and Khalil Ahmed.
These people will get rewards
Three physiotherapists, three throwdown specialists, two molars and one strength and conditioning coach associated with the Indian team will get Rs 2 crore each from this amount. A total of 42 people came with the Indian team to participate in the T20 World Cup 2024. This also includes the team's social media team, BCCI staff members, media officials and the team's logistics manager. All of them will also get money from this amount.
5 crore rupees will be earned without playing any match
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson and Yuzvendra Chahal, who are included in India's 15-member team, have not played a single match in the World Cup. But they will get Rs 5 crore for being included in the 15-member team.
