Barmer, 16 May (HS). Barmer Police has arrested the absconding wanted criminal of Madhya Pradesh. A year ago, he along with his associates entered the house and committed robbery in Nahadiya village of Harda district of MP. After committing the crime, the accused changed his appearance and reached Barmer to escape. RIICO police station and DST team have arrested the accused and handed him over to Madhya Pradesh police.
Actually, the complainant had given the report in Chhipawada police station of Harda district of Madhya Pradesh. According to this, on the night of June 5, 2023, he entered the house, tied the hands and feet of the family members and robbed twenty thousand rupees in cash and one kilogram of gold jewelery and ran away. After the incident, MP Police registered a case and started investigation. According to police investigation, the accused Pappu alias Narmada Prasad, resident of Nahadia police station, Civil Line district, Harda, had committed robbery and reached Barmer by changing his appearance. MP Police informed Barmer Police.
Taking action, RIICO police station officer Devaram's team and DST in-charge Amin Khan's team have arrested the wanted accused Pappu alias Narmada Prasad, resident of Nahariya, Civil Line Harda, Madhya Pradesh. The accused was on the run by staying in Barmer for the last several days. The police arrested him on suspicion. During interrogation, he admitted to committing the crime.
On the information of Barmer Police, Madhya Pradesh Police reached Barmer and left with the accused. Head constable Premaram, constable Peeraram were involved in the action. Police said that the wanted accused had reached Barmer by changing his appearance. Along with working in a private job, he was also running a Ferrari. Wanted Pappu along with four other associates had committed the robbery. After that, they fled away after robbing Rs 20,000 in cash and 1 kg of gold jewellery. After the incident, the police was trying for a long time to find the accused. Madhya Pradesh Police has earlier arrested two accused in the same case.
