Prayagraj, August 12 (HS). The Disciplinary Committee of the UP State Bar Council Prayagraj has held Allahabad High Court advocate Varun Kumar Shukla guilty of professional misconduct and has banned him from practising in any court in India for the next six months.
The Bar Council has given this order accepting the complaint made by Sheel Kumar Singh on 11 November 21. He says that he bought flat number T-19 in Maruti Vihar Apartment Tagore Town Prayagraj on 12 October 21 and took possession of it along with his belongings on 19 October 21. On the same day at 6 pm, accused advocates Varun Kumar Shukla and Sandeep Kumar Ojha came with 4-5 people and vandalized and looted. They tried to occupy the flat. The police came when called and called both the parties to the police station. The complainant also lodged an FIR on 20 October.
SP City issued notice to the complainant. Action under section 145 was taken on the police report. Evidence was presented before ACM IV Prayagraj. On 12 June 23, ACM gave the decision in favor of the complainant and declared the opponent's possession illegal. Also, a ban was imposed on interfering with the petitioner's possession.
After this, the petitioner complained to the Bar Council. In which the Disciplinary Committee of the Bar Council has declared the opposing advocate guilty of misconduct.
