New service of the bank: BOBCARD LIMITED has started EMI service on UPI payment. For this, BOBCARD has partnered with RuPay.
The new feature will allow RuPay BOBCARD holders to convert their purchases into EMI by scanning the QR code through the UPI app, giving them a more convenient and hassle-free payment experience.
Through this facility, RuPay BOBCARD holders can now use UPI for payments, both online and offline, at any UPI-accepting merchant, and convert their transactions into EMIs at the time of purchase.
Customers can apply for EMI facility directly on their linked RuPay Credit Card through any UPI App, where the UPI PIN acts as user consent on acceptance of the relevant terms and conditions.
At checkout, users can choose the EMI option at the time of payment, allowing them to choose their preferred EMI tenure while shopping, ensuring that high-value festive purchases are spread across manageable instalments. The process is completely digital, requiring no additional paperwork, making it a hassle-free experience.
Additionally, the UPI app also lets users track their ongoing EMIs, ensuring timely payments and complete transparency – essential during the high-spend festive months.
Customers can also convert past purchases made with their RuPay credit card into EMIs by accessing their transaction history on the UPI app.
