According to the official calendar of RBI, there will be bank holidays in different parts of the country next week mainly on these days:

  • 15 June 2026 (Monday): Banks will remain closed in some selected states and areas of the country due to local, regional or religious festivals (such as Mithun Sankranti/Raja Parv).

  • June 21, 2026 (Sunday): Due to this day being a weekly holiday, all government, private and co-operative banks including State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB) and HDFC will remain completely closed across the country.

The Reserve Bank has announced a total of 11 days of holidays, including national, regional and religious festivals, for the entire month of June 2026. Holidays of second and fourth Saturday and all Sundays have also been added to these.

  • Sunday weekly holidays: June 7, June 14, June 21 and June 28, 2026.

  • Saturday Holidays: June 13 (second Saturday of the month) and June 27 (fourth Saturday of the month).
