Bank Holidays in July 2024: Banks are an essential financial institution, without which many important tasks come to a halt. From depositing checks to transferring money from one account to another, going to the bank for cash transactions, etc., customers' time is wasted when the bank is closed. To avoid such problems, the Reserve Bank of India releases a list of bank holidays before the beginning of every month. RBI has also given information about the holidays coming in July. Out of the 31 days of July, banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days. This includes second and fourth Saturdays and every Sunday. Apart from this, banks will also remain closed due to local festivals and Muharram in the states. Let us know about the holidays coming in July 2024.
There will be a bank holiday in Shillong on 3 July 2024 on account of the festival of Beh Dinkhlam.
There will be a bank holiday in Aizawl on 6th July 2024 on account of MHIP Day.

Banks will remain closed in Imphal on 8th July 2024 on the occasion of Kang Rath Yatra.
There will be a bank holiday in Gangtok on 9th July 2024 on the occasion of Drukpa Tse-ji.
Second Saturday on 13 July 2024.
14th July 2024 Sunday Holiday.
Banks will remain closed in Dehradun on 16 July 2024 on the occasion of Harela.
On the occasion of Muharram on July 17, banks will remain closed across the country except Ahmedabad, Panaji, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Itanagar, Kochi, Kohima and Thiruvananthapuram.
