Zero balance facility is available in this SBI account. This SBI account is also called Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account (BSBDA).

Any person can easily open this account. To open an account, the customer has to fulfill the KYC conditions. To fulfill the KYC conditions, you must have a PAN card and Aadhaar card.

The facility of joint savings account is also available in this account. For example, both husband and wife can open this joint account. You must have all the required documents to open the account.

In this, you do not need to maintain a minimum balance in the account. There is no penalty even if the balance is less than this.

You can keep a maximum amount of money in the account. The bank has not set any limit on the maximum balance.

In this account, the account holder gets the facility of passbook, basic Rupay ATM-cum-debit card, mobile and internet banking. Please note that free chequebook is not available in this.

Like a normal bank account, you can withdraw money using your Aadhaar card. Apart from this, there is also a facility to make payment through UPI.

If the account holder closes the account, he will not have to pay any charge. That is, there will be no fee for closing the account.
