The Interior Ministry of the interim government led by Mohammad Yunus in Bangladesh has issued a Talibani decree.
In which the Durga Puja committees of the minority Hindu community of the country have been ordered to stop Durga Puja rituals and sound systems five minutes before Azaan and Namaz before Durga Puja. Those who do not follow the order will be arrested. This has caused anger in the Hindu community of Bangladesh. Hindus of Bangladesh are protesting against this order. Retired Lieutenant General Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Advisor to the Home Ministry of Bangladesh, held a meeting with the leaders of Bangladesh Puja Udyapan Parishad at the Secretariat on Tuesday. After this, he held a press conference on the issue of law and order before Durga Puja and said that the Puja committees have been asked to turn off musical instruments, sound systems five minutes before Azaan and Namaz and during Azaan and Namaz. He claimed that the movement of people of the Hindu community creates problems in maintaining law and order during Durga Puja. Radharaman Das, Vice President of ISKCON Kolkata, opposing the decision of the Bangladesh government, said that this is the new Taliban Bangladesh but no Bollywood actor will raise placards for the minorities of Bangladesh because they are Hindus.
