Kanpur, 02 October (Hindustan Reporter). Vishwa Hindu Parishad Kanpur province workers on Wednesday gave a memorandum to the District Magistrate and Police Commissioner demanding a ban on the entry of heretics in the Dandiya Garba programs being held in the city.

In the memorandum given to the district administration, VHP said that Navratri, the sacred and power worship festival of Hindu society, will start from October 3. On this occasion, Dandiya programs are also being organized at many places in the city. Vishva Hindu Parishad demands that the administration should ensure that neither there are heterodox organizers in any Dandiya program nor any heterodox is allowed to enter there in any form. Because this festival and tradition is purely of Sanatan Dharma. The administration will definitely have a list of all such programs because in all the programs the organizers come to the administration for permission. Some event organizers are also giving advertisements like free entry to girls. What is the intention behind this? The Council also strongly objects to such advertisements. The administration is requested to talk to such organizers and understand their views.

There is a demand from the administration that in all the Dandiya programs being held in Kanpur metropolis, it should be ensured that the organizer and co-organizer of any program should not be a non-Hindu and the entry of the participant and participant in the program should be done only on the basis of Aadhaar card. Among those who gave the memorandum, VHP department minister Gaurang Dixit and Bajrang Dal province co-convenor Amarnath, Mohit, Naveen and workers including Yuvraj, Keshav, Vaibhav, Akash were present.
