Mobile ban in Chardham Yatra: Due to huge crowd in Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand, the system has broken down for 5 days. Therefore, the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary had to tell the officials that the officials would camp in all four camps. Secretary level officers are being asked to continuously monitor the Chardham Yatra.

In such a situation, the government has now taken another big decision. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has given instructions that no mobile phone will be used within a radius of 200 meters of Chardham i.e. Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri temples. According to Radha Raturi, use of mobile is also causing disruption in travelling.

Videos cannot be made within 200 meters of the temple.

In view of the increasing crowd on Chardham Yatra, Uttarakhand government has taken a big decision. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has instructed all the District Magistrates and police officers that the devotees coming on the Yatra cannot make videos or use mobile phones within a radius of 200 meters of the temple. If someone is found using a mobile then the police will stop him and action can also be taken against him.

Do not come on Chardham Yatra without registration

The Uttarakhand government has written a letter to the Chief Secretaries of all the states asking them to announce in their respective states that no devotee should come on the Chardham Yatra without registration. Those who have registered should come on the dates mentioned in the registration. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has also appealed to the coming devotees to exercise restraint and cooperate with the administration.

Action will be taken against those who spread wrong videos or rumors

The Chief Secretary has said that this year more people are coming during the yatra than every year. In such a situation, we have decided that those traveling without registration will be stopped. Now we will send them ahead only after checking the vehicles at various places and talking to the devotees, so that there is no sudden overcrowding in Chardham. Along with this, the government has also made it clear that action will be taken against those spreading any kind of rumor or wrong video.
