Balrampur being renovated with Rs 17 crore under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, 90 percent work completed

Balrampur, 21 October (Hindustan Reporter). Under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Balrampur and Tulsipur railway stations of the district are being rejuvenated at a cost of Rs 17 crore. More than 90 percent of whose work has been completed. A target was set to complete the remaining work by October 30. From the month of November, both these railway stations of the district will be seen in a new form.

Mahesh Gupta, Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, said on Monday that under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, redevelopment work is going on at 58 stations on North Eastern Railway at a cost of about Rs 2,000 crore, keeping in mind the needs of the next 50 years. He said that in this sequence, two railway stations of Balrampur district, Balrampur and Tulsipur, are included in the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Under which redevelopment work is going on. He said that Balrampur station is being upgraded with the provision of new facilities along with old facilities at a cost of Rs 10 crore 78 lakh. Which will be implemented in a phased manner with the target. At present 94 percent work at Balrampur station has been completed. Which includes Platform Rising, VDC and Granite Flooring, Circulating Road and Boundary Wall, Waiting Hall, Modern Toilet Block, Tensile Fabric Porch, Platform Shelter etc. Apart from this, work on circulating area pathway, entry exit gate, landscaping work, painting work of facade of station building etc. is going on.

Public Relations Officer said that apart from Balrampur station, Tulsipur railway station is being upgraded at a cost of Rs 6 crore 88 lakh under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Under the plan, development of the circulating area of ​​the main entrance of Tulsipur station and beautification of the station incorporating local art and culture, upgradation of “platform surface”, 'station facade' and improved lighting in the station premises, coach guidance system, train Display boards, digital clocks, passenger announcement system, solar plants, water coolers, air conditioners and glossine boards (signage) related to various passenger amenities, L.E.D. Works like station name plates, modernization of passenger waiting rooms and toilets located at the station etc. will be completed. At present 72 percent work at Tulsipur station has been completed. The scheduled date of work of Tulsipur station is till 30th October.

He told that in the same sequence, the work of Siddharth Nagar, Badhni and Anand Nagar railway stations is also going on in the final stage. Here also the fixed date is 30th October. From the month of November, all these railway stations will be seen in a new form.
