Uttar Pradesh, July 10 (HS). The district has got 138 newly appointed Lekhpals. Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh and District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Lakshkar gave appointment letters to 51 selected Lekhpals in a program organized in the Collectorate Auditorium on Wednesday. The faces of the Lekhpals also lit up with joy after receiving the appointment letters from the Minister and the District Magistrate.
The Transport Minister congratulated all the selected Lekhpals for joining the government service and motivated them to discharge their duties with honesty and integrity. He said that in case of land dispute in rural areas, the responsibility of the Lekhpal becomes very important in getting justice to the right person. All the selected Lekhpals should always maintain communication with the public in their area. The more you remain connected to your area, the better your work will be. He said that the state government is providing employment to the youth according to their qualifications without any discrimination and following the reservation rules. District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Lakshkar said that this government service is for public interest. This service also gives an opportunity to increase one's self-respect by doing better work. All the selected Lekhpals should know about their work well and discharge it with full honesty. On this occasion, BJP District President Sanjay Yadav, Chief Revenue Officer Tribhuvan, SDM Sadar Atreya Mishra, ADM DP Singh, District President of Lekhpal Sangh Nirbhay Singh etc. were present.
Sadar tehsil gets 41 accountants
The 138 Lekhpals allotted to the district have been allocated tehsil wise. The Sadar tehsil has got the highest number of Lekhpals, 41. Apart from this, 16 Lekhpals have been deployed in Bansdih tehsil, 34 in Rasra, 14 in Belthara Road, 18 in Sikandarpur and 15 in Bairia.
