Bajaj Pulsar NS200 vs TVS Apache RTR 200 4V: Know which one to buy here

New Delhi: Bajaj Auto recently updated the Pulsar NS200 with the NS125 and NS160. The newly launched Lancer series comes with a digital instrument cluster. Among other updates, the turn indicators have been upgraded from a pleated unit to a led one.

However, it is not an easy task for the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 as it has to compete with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. Let's talk about these two.

The new NS 200 features LED headlamp clusters, boomerang-shaped LRLs and LED turn signals. At the same time, LEV headlight setup is also available in TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, which is taken from RTR 160 4V.

Speciality

The biggest update to the NS200 is the digital console, which comes with a Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument cluster. When connected to a smartphone, it shows turn-by-turn navigation, EXT, real-time and average satan mileage as well as call/SMS notifications. Apart from this, Bajaj has given an additional switch in the left switchgear in the motorcycle.

All these features are also available in TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. However, it also gets 3 riding modes in the form of Sport, Urban and Rain.

The new Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is powered by a 199.5 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Mated to a 6-speed transmission, this E20-line produces 24.13 bhp and 18.74 Nm. Maximum torque produces maximum power.

On the other hand, Apache RRT 200 4V gets a maximum power of 197.75 cc, single-cylinder, air/back-cooled engine, which comes with a 5 -7.75 cc, single-cylinder, air/back-cooled engine. 20.54 bhp and 17.25 Nm

price

Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is priced at Rs 1.57 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is available in two variants. This includes single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS, which are priced between Rs 1.42 lakh and Rs 1.47 lakh.
