Baidyanath not getting ministerial post is a betrayal to the scheduled society: Amar Bauri

Ranchi, 16 February (HS). Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri said on Friday that the second expansion of the cabinet of Chief Minister Champai Soren's Hemant Part-2 government took place on Friday. In this expansion, five ministers of JMM and three of Congress took oath. In a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Governor CP Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers which included Dr. Rameshwar Oraon, Deepak Birua, Banna Gupta, Badal Patralekh, Mithilesh Thakur, Basant Soren, Hafeezul Hasan and Baby Devi.

He said that it is an irony of the state that just before the swearing in, Baidyanath Ram's name was struck off at the last moment whereas Baidyanath Ram's name was included in the list sent to the Raj Bhavan. The Scheduled Caste community of Jharkhand, with a population of 50 lakh, had to face another betrayal by the Thugbandhan government.

Bauri said that the anti-Dalit face of JMM, Congress and RJD has once again come in front of everyone. The Dalit class of Jharkhand is only worthy of carrying the flag and stick of their party and not of sharing and participation in power. Once again the representation of Scheduled Caste community in the Council of Ministers will be zero. The public will give a befitting reply to this incompetent and fraudulent government in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
