West Champaran (Bagaha), July 13 (HS). The Sub-Divisional Officer Bagaha has held a meeting of the Supply Task Force in the Sub-Divisional Auditorium on Saturday.
After reviewing various agendas in the meeting, SDM Bagaha gave tasks to the visiting officials.
The Sub-Divisional Officer first observed the work related to Aadhar seeding block wise, then directed all the Block Supply Officers to get 95% Aadhar seeding done within 15 days and get KYC done of the beneficiaries covered under ration card. The lifting of food grains was reviewed in the meeting, in which the dispatch from the block Thakraha godown was found to be zero in the month of July 2024, on which the Sub-Divisional Officer expressed great resentment and directed to get the dispatch done immediately.
During the review of foodgrain distribution, the percentage of distribution of Ramnagar and Thakraha blocks was found to be low, to increase which strict instructions were given to the concerned supply officer. The online applications related to ration card issuance, amendment and cancellation were reviewed block wise, in which a total of 3194 applications were found pending at the level of supply inspector, which the sub-divisional officer ordered to be executed within 15 days. At the same time, the President and Secretary of the Dealer Association told that the block supply officer of Bagaha 1 sends foodgrains only after 05:00 pm, on which the sub-divisional officer gave strict instructions to Bagaha 1 AGM to ensure that the foodgrains reach the dealer shops on time and in the correct weight.
