Hoshiarpur: There was chaos in Mohalla Parlad of Hoshiarpur this morning when a youth set fire to a firecracker during the installation of the effigy of Lord Hanuman. The explosion was so powerful that windows of nearby houses were broken and vehicles parked nearby were also damaged.
Two youths were seriously injured in this explosion. After which he was immediately taken to the Civil Hospital, from where in view of his serious condition, he was referred to a private hospital. While the officers reached the spot after receiving the information, MLA Brahmshankar Jimpa also reached the hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured.
