Major districts where heavy rain is most likely include Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur. Apart from this, intermittent showers are also expected in Gorakhpur, Basti, Sant Kabirnagar and Kushinagar. The administration has given instructions to take special precautions during open programs organized in these areas so that there is no inconvenience due to rain or strong winds.
