Mumbai: There are reports that the earnings of Bade Miya Chhote Miya, which was released on the occasion of Eid, have decreased on the second day of Eid holidays. Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff's film, which is quite popular on social media, managed to earn well at the box office on the first day due to the Eid holiday. But on the second day of Eid, barely Rs 7 crore is reported to have been collected. For both Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, winning Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is a must. At present both the stars do not have any big hit film, hence the expectations of their fans are very high. The makers have left no stone unturned to promote the action thriller. But all eyes will be on how audiences respond over the weekend.
Ajay Devgan's Maidaan was also released on the day of Eid. Critics appreciated the film but audiences did not give it the appreciation it deserved, resulting in a poor performance at the box office. It is being told that Maidan has barely earned three-fourth crore rupees on Friday. Ajay Devgan has played the lead role in the biopic of football player Syed Abdul. Along with Devgan, Priyamani and Gajraj Rao also played important roles in this film.
