Solan, April 17 (Hindus). Police have busted the illegal liquor business being run from a rented room in Baddi, the industrial area of the district. In this context, the main accused has been detained with 56 boxes of liquor.
Baddi police had received secret information at around 7 pm on Tuesday evening that there was a cache of illegal liquor in a rented room in Sandholi area under Baddi. The person involved in this business is doing business of selling illegal liquor from a rented room. Police formed a team and raided and 56 boxes of liquor were recovered from the room.
Baddi police station in-charge Rakesh Rai said that the police had received secret information that Manpreet's son Gurucharan smuggles illegal liquor in a rented room. On this information, the police team raided and recovered 56 boxes of illegal liquor selling in Himachal Pradesh from the spot.
He said that a case has been registered under the Himachal Pradesh Excise Act and further investigation is being carried out.
