The company has admitted for the first time in court documents that the Covid-19 vaccine can cause side effects such as blood clots. However, the company claims that the number of cases of such side effects is very less.
According to a British newspaper report, several families filed a lawsuit alleging harm caused by the Corona vaccine, after which the major pharmaceutical company admitted in court that the vaccine can cause serious health problems.
Actually, Jamie Scott had filed a lawsuit against AstraZeneca. He took a dose of corona vaccine in April 2021, after which he suffered permanent brain damage. Many other patients, including Jamie Scott, had a rare symptom called thrombosis with TTS. All of them filed a case against the companies and demanded compensation.
In a legal document submitted to a UK court in February this year, the Cambridge-based company admitted that its vaccine 'in rare cases, may cause TTS', a form of thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) with thrombosis In such a situation, problems like low platelet count and blood clotting can occur.
