Jaunpur, 03 May (HS). Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate Babu Singh Kushwaha reached the Collectorate complex with his supporters on Friday and filed his nomination for the Jaunpur Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, there was an altercation between the supporters and the police. Samajwadi Party candidate Babu Singh Kushwaha filed nomination papers in two sets before the District Magistrate from Jaunpur Lok Sabha.
While talking to the journalists, Babu Singh Kushwaha said that the district has to be developed, the incomplete medical college has to be completed which has been lying incomplete for a long time. On being an external candidate, he said that Jaunpur is not new to me. Babu Singh Kushwaha said that I am getting public support. Babu Singh Kushwaha has been a minister in the Mayawati government. However, he remained in jail for a long time in a scam case.
