Ancient Venkatesh Temple Madhya Pradesh: Nowadays, the addiction of making reels is running rampant among the youth. These new age youngsters start making reels wherever they go, regardless of the place. Some are risking their own lives and some are risking the lives of others. There are many people who do not shy away from doing obscenity in the middle of the road for reel. Recently, a case has come to light from Satna in Madhya Pradesh which has created a stir.
Demanded a strict ban on such activities in the temple
Controversy has arisen due to the viral reel of obscene dance of two girls in the ancient and holy Venkatesh temple of Satna. Some girls were making reels on obscene songs inside the temple, which spread anger among the devotees. The temple complex has become a mere picnic spot, where anti-social elements gather throughout the day. Hindu organizations say that such actions are insulting religious faith. The Hindu organization has called it a matter of serious concern and has demanded a strict ban on such activities in the temple.
Strict action against those making reels in the temple premises
However, some time ago the government had shown strictness regarding making religious places reel spots. Last year, the government had started teaching a lesson to the reel makers in the Kedarnath temple complex. In May 2024, challan was issued to 84 people making reels in the Kedarnath temple complex. Due to which the government earned an income of Rs 30 thousand.
The Uttarakhand government had imposed a complete ban on reel and photography within a distance of fifty meters from the Kedarnath temple complex. Action was taken against 84 people who made videography and social media reels within 50 meters of the temple and 59 people who created ruckus in the temple after drinking alcohol.
