Babar-Rizwan's problems increased after Pakistan's poor performance, PCB may take a big decision

After the poor performance in the T20 World Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board is now considering cutting the central contract of the players. Which also includes the names of team captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan. Both these players have disappointed the team a lot with their poor performance. According to the report, if the central contract of these players is cut, then Babar and Rizwan can refuse PCB to take the central contract.

PCB is waiting for the coach's report

Gary Kirsten was appointed coach of the Pakistan team before the T20 World Cup 2024. However, the team's performance in the World Cup was very poor. Babar Azam's team could not even make it to the Super-8. After being out of the World Cup, coach Gary Kirsten himself had raised questions on the Pakistan team. Now the PCB is waiting for the coach's report. Any decision will be taken only after that.

Babar-Rizwan will go down from Grade-A

Actually, the performance of the Pakistan team in both the big tournaments, ODI World Cup and now T20 World Cup, has been very poor. After the ODI World Cup, Babar left the captaincy of the team but before the T20 World Cup, Babar was made the captain. The performance of both Babar and Rizwan was not very good in the entire tournament. Pakistan lost its first league match to a weak team like host America.

The team was able to win only one match in this World Cup. Since then, many questions are being asked from captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Now the PCB is considering downgrading these players from Grade-A. The PCB will form a committee regarding this. However, there will be no cut in the salary of the players.
