Lord Ram's birth anniversary was celebrated with great pomp in all small and big temples and homes including the court of Kashi. The birth anniversary of Lord Ram was celebrated at Ramtaraka Andhra Ashram located in Mansarovar. Like every year, Shri Ram Maha Aarti was organized on Ram Navami under the joint aegis of Muslim Mahila Foundation and Vishal Bharat Sansthan. At Subhash Bhawan in Lamhi, Muslim women performed the Aarti of Lord Ram from the puja plate and gave the message of Hindu-Muslim unity. Along with performing the aarti, Muslim women also sang mangal songs. Shriram was written in Urdu and lamps were lit on it. Along with Maha Aarti, Muslim women also gave a message to those fundamentalists who are sowing the seeds of hatred under the guise of religion. In the program, All India Executive Member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Indresh Kumar, National President of the Foundation Nazneen Ansari, Dr. Rajeev, Dr. Najma Parveen, Dr. Archana Bharatvanshi etc. were included.
