Amarnath Yatra is going to start from 29th June. Earlier on Monday (3rd June), Baba Amarnath was seen in his full form. Baba Amarnath's Shivling is completely made of ice. Its pictures have come out. This time Amarnath Yatra will be of 52 days. This yatra which started on 29th June will continue till 19th August. Last time it lasted for 60 days from 1st July. For the first time both the routes will be fully equipped with 5G fiber network. Most of the pillars have been installed to provide electricity 24 hours a day.
The shrine board is also increasing medical provisions for the first time. There will be two camp hospitals at Baltal and Chandanbari which will be equipped with 100-100 ICU beds, advanced equipment, X-ray, ultrasonography machines, critical care specialists, cardiac monitors, liquid oxygen plants. The oxygen content in the air here is low, so there will be 100 permanent oxygen booths and mobile oxygen booths on the yatra route. There will be three small hospitals at the holy cave, Sheshnag and Panchtarni.
According to the Border Roads Organisation, the 14 km road from Baltal to the cave has been made 7 to 12 feet wide. Vehicles can travel on it. However, only BRO army vehicles are allowed right now. It will be used in case of emergency. Last time, about 60 thousand soldiers were deployed on both routes. This time, during the Lok Sabha elections, all the 635 companies of paramilitary forces deployed in Jammu and Kashmir will be deployed in the Yatra after the voting.
