Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurrana has dropped out of Kareena Kapoor's film 'Daira'. Now South star Prithviraj Sukumaran has been replaced.
Meghna Gulzar is producing this film. According to its genre, this film is women-centric. The hero's character is that of a police officer. Ayushmann was signed for this film some time ago. Now caste reasons are being discussed regarding his expulsion. However, according to a claim, Ayushmann had date problems for these films, so he backed out of the film.
Earlier talks were also held with Siddharth Malhotra for this film. But, he left this film on the grounds that the role of the heroine in the film was more powerful than that of the hero.
Prithviraj Sukumaran has been trying to establish his foothold in Bollywood for quite some time. She also played a role in Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. However, the film flopped at the box office and because of this Prithviraj did not get the attention he deserved.
