Recently, while the title track of his family entertainer ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’, made under the banner of Rajshri Productions, was released and was highly appreciated by music lovers, on the other hand, the official trailer of his mega budget spy comedy film ‘Udta Teer’ made under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has also been released in front of the audience. During the grand trailer launch event of the film ‘Udta Teer’ held in Mumbai, when journalists asked Ayushmann Khurrana questions about this controversial slogan and the harsh trolling happening on social media, the actor expressed his views in a very natural, logical and mature manner. Clarifying the situation, Ayushmann said that as a professional artiste, his first and most sacred duty is to be completely honest to his script and the director’s vision. He said clearly, “Whatever the script demands, I will do it. This scene was completely an integral part of the story and the script. Being an actor, you have to be mentally prepared to do anything to bring your character alive on screen. All this has always happened in spy genre films, but the biggest difference here is that this is not a serious or tense drama, but a spy comedy and a patriotic entertaining film. I would always give priority to the script. I am a director’s actor, what you can call a director’s baby, so whatever the director directs me to do, I will do exactly that on screen.”
Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, ‘Udta Teer’ is a unique comedy-drama and spy-thriller that promises to take the audience on a rollercoaster ride of laughter and suspense. In the film, Ayushmann Khurrana has played a very interesting character of a Pakistani spy named ‘Bilal Ahmed’. The story takes an unexpected turn when Bilal completely loses his memory during a secret mission. After losing his memory, a misconception sets in his mind that he is actually a true and staunch Indian citizen. The contradictions between one’s true identity and this new misunderstanding create great humor and confusion in the story.
