Health card will be available on Google Wallet from 2025
Google has said in its blog post that Ayushman Bharat Health Card (ABHA-ID) will be available on Google Wallet from 2025. It is a part of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) which is designed to reach the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Scheme to the people digitally. The National Health Authority, which oversees the mission, has teamed up with Google. With this, health cards related to this scheme will be available to people only in digital format on Google Wallet. This will help in reaching the benefits of the scheme quickly to the people.
Benefits of having ABHA-ID on Google Wallet
Google said that earlier it took 6 months to complete this work. Now these can be completed in two weeks. With the ABHA ID card available on Google Wallet, people will be able to easily share their medical records, such as lab test reports and medicine prescriptions, with health centers across the country.
To protect their health details, users can secure their phone with a fingerprint, PIN or passcode. ABHA ID card number maintains your health records. It promotes digital health in the country.

Ayushman Bharat Yojana has been launched mainly to increase health facilities in villages and poor people. It is the world's largest government health insurance scheme. Now under this scheme, every citizen of the country aged 70 years and above will get insurance cover.
