This university has traveled a long journey and its unique contribution to the education system, thinking, culture and social system here is incomparable.

In the programme, the Mayor said that our city is a spiritual and religious city. But if any one institution is doing the work of connecting it with modern ideas and preserving it effectively, then it is Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. He said that now Ayodhya is no longer that Ayodhya. Ayodhya is going to become the biggest cultural centre. A cultural center will not be built just by the temple. Rather, from this temple of education, many researches, many scholars, many thoughts, many histories will come out of these four walls. He said that in the coming times, the university should be prepared for the fact that it will have a huge cultural role because the ideas emanating from this university will not remain limited to Ayodhya only. Rather, your thoughts will be for the whole world.

Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Pratibha Goyal, who was presiding over the program, while congratulating everyone on the 49th Foundation Day of the University, said that the University was established on March 04, 1975. Today a huge butt tree has grown. Along with providing shade to all of us in this temple of knowledge, he is continuously working to remove the darkness of ignorance with the torch of knowledge in his hand. The Vice Chancellor said that education has a huge contribution. Education itself tells the difference between truth, wisdom and discretion. Our university is doing this work very well.

In the program, Vice Chancellor Prof. Goyal said that we are continuously moving forward under the guidance of the Chancellor of the University. Due to timely guidance from everyone including the State Chief Minister, State Higher Education Minister, State Education Minister, we are moving towards continuous progress.

The Vice Chancellor said that more than 700 colleges are affiliated in this university. 7 lakh students are getting education. Education in Arts, Science, Engineering etc. is being imparted in the campus. 7000 students are getting education in this campus. He said that the university in which 7 lakh students are getting education must be playing an important role in the promotion of education.

The university has registered its name in the Guinness Book of World Records for the sixth time by lighting more than 21 lakh lamps in the seventh Deepotsav of Ayodhya. The Vice Chancellor said that a research policy of the university has been made. In this policy, along with rewarding every researcher, every research paper published and every research project, the Best Researcher Award will also be given.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Goyal said that provision of scholarship is also being made for those who have taken admission in PhD after passing NET. Content consultancy policy has been made by the teachers of the university. So that more consultancy projects can come and the name of the university can spread all around. Herbal garden, compost plant and mushroom unit have been started with the help of teachers and students of the university.
