Korba, November 15 (HS). A special workshop on wildlife conservation was organized today by Nova Nature Welfare Society at Jyoti Bhushan Pratap Singh Law College. The workshop had a special focus on the Wildlife Protection Act 1972, making the students and other attendees aware of various aspects of this law.
The objective of the workshop was to explain the role of law in wildlife conservation. It discussed how by following the right laws, wildlife crimes can be stopped and justice can be provided to wildlife. The team also explained that wildlife conservation is not limited to only organizations or government, but it is possible to protect wildlife only with the participation of all of us. Apart from this, special information was also given on ways to deal with crises like snakebite. The attendees were explained the importance of taking correct steps in case of emergency so as to increase the chances of survival in snakebite incidents.
The team of Nova Nature Welfare Society is doing important work towards wildlife conservation through continuous public awareness in the district. The workshop organized at this historic college is an organized and effective step against wildlife crimes, which not only brings out the power of law but also inspires the youth and the community to shoulder their responsibility in the conservation of wildlife.
