The government is continuously making efforts towards eliminating communicable diseases. The campaign is being run in different months of the year. From today, teams will go door-to-door to eliminate communicable diseases. This campaign will run for the entire month.

On Tuesday, on the occasion of the launch of the Communicable Disease Campaign at the CHC in Aliganj, the capital Lucknow, the Deputy Chief Minister said that councilors, social workers and local people have an important role in eliminating dengue, malaria, chikungunya, kala azar and other communicable diseases. The government is making efforts to make the campaign successful in coordination with 13 departments including Health, Municipal Corporation, Rural Development, LDA, Malaria, Housing Development. There has been success to a great extent in this.

Do not allow water to accumulate around the house
Brajesh Pathak has appealed to the people not to allow water to accumulate inside and outside the house. Maintain cleanliness in vacant plots etc. Do not let dirt accumulate. Do not fill water in coolers, pots, tires etc. This can prevent mosquito breeding to a great extent. Pour burnt mobil oil or kerosene into the water accumulated around the house.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that under the campaign, there will be continuous fogging in urban and rural areas. Antilarva spraying will be done. Cleanliness campaign will be conducted so that people can be saved from communicable diseases. Health workers will conduct door-to-door investigations. Will help in eliminating the larvae growing in homes. If a dengue-malaria patient is found, the rest of the family members and the people around him will also be tested. Vulnerable areas for dengue, malaria and other communicable diseases should be identified. Fogging and antilarva spraying should be done in these areas. Cleaning should be done. People should be made aware about prevention of diseases. If patients with fever etc. are found, a camp should be set up and testing should be done.

Doctor's advice, check-up and free medicines are being distributed. Do not be careless in treatment. The disease can be completely controlled with timely diagnosis and treatment. There are enough beds in hospitals to admit dengue patients.
