Awareness campaign launched to stop child marriage

East Champaran, November 28 (HS). With the launch of the Child Marriage Free India initiative by the Central Government, efforts to create awareness regarding it have been started. Under the aegis of Prayas Juvenile Aid Center East Champaran, information about this campaign was given by organizing various programs with the idea of ​​taking this campaign to the masses.

Giving information about this, District Project Coordinator of Prayas, Aarti Kumari said that the awareness campaign was conducted with the help of the schools running in Adapur, Raxaul, Ramgarhwa block of Raxaul subdivision along with the officials of SSB as well as other supporting organizations. In which about 15 thousand 500 people took an oath to stop child marriage in their village. Aarti said that positive results of this initiative will be seen in the coming days and child marriage can be completely eliminated by 2030.

On the spot Vijay Kumar Sharma, Raj Gupta, Umesh Kumar Srivastava, Abhishek Kumar, Suman Patel, Mohd. Nayab Alam, Suman Chaurasia, Uttam Kumar Ghosh, Sub Inspector Divya Sharma, Pradeep Kazi, Arvind Dwivedi and others were present.
