Awareness campaign launched to prevent fire incidents

Kishanganj, 03 August (HS). These days, the fire department is continuously running awareness campaigns in various establishments of the city and blocks to prevent fire incidents. The team is directly reaching out to people and making them aware. In this series, workers were made aware in the bamboo industry in Qurlikot Piprithan of Thakurganj block and in the educational institution in Thakurganj. The program was organized under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Fire Officer Madan Kumar, in which first of all, physical verification of equipment and fire equipment installed from the point of view of safety was done. The current condition of the equipment was checked.

After this, information regarding fire safety was given in the presence of staff and security guards.

Sub-divisional fire collectorate officer Madan Kumar said that awareness programmes are being run in different areas. It was also told that if a gas cylinder catches fire suddenly, then the fire can be controlled by being patient. Other information was also given. It was also told what should be done immediately if a fire incident occurs. He said that such incidents can be prevented by being alert and cautious.
