Ayodhya, 3 December (Hindus). The examinations of the first, third and fifth semesters of NEP BA, B.Sc and B.Com courses of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University started in three shifts under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. On the first day, 1302 candidates remained absent out of 36267 candidates in three shifts.
On the other hand, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Pratibha Goyal took stock of the examination arrangements by conducting a surprise inspection of the examination center of Pracheta Bhawan and Diksha Bhawan of the campus in the third shift. Controller of Examinations Umanath, Center Head Prof. Chayan Kumar Mishra, Prof. Ashutosh Sinha were present on the occasion. On the instructions of the Vice Chancellor, the Controller of Examinations investigated the operation of the CCTV cameras of the examination centers from the control room of the university. On the other hand, surprise inspection of various centers was conducted by the team appointed by the university. Media in-charge of the university, Dr. Vijayendu Chaturvedi said that on the first day of graduation semester examination, 990, 136, 176 candidates were absent against 18487 in the first shift, 4835 in the second shift and 12945 in the third shift. This day’s examination was completed peacefully.
