Dubai, 12 October (HIST). Australia registered their 14th consecutive win in the Women's T20 World Cup with a 9-wicket win over Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday. With this victory, the Australian team maintained its position at the top of Group A.

Chasing a modest target of 83 runs, the defending champions lost the wicket of Beth Mooney early. On the total score of 36, Sadia Iqbal gave the first blow to Pakistan by sending Beth Mooney to the pavilion. Mooney scored 15 runs on 15 balls.
