Meerut, 08 April (HS). An attempt was made to rape a Class 8 student standing outside her house in Falavada police station area by kidnapping her. When the police did not take action against the accused, the victim appealed to the SSP to take action.
A Class 8 student was standing outside her house on Sunday evening in a village under Falavada police station area. It is alleged that two youths of the village kidnapped the student on a motorcycle and took her to a field. The accused tried to rape the student there. The student raised an alarm and somehow escaped from the clutches of the accused.
When the student went to her home and told her everything, her family members reached Falavada police station and filed a complaint. When no action was taken by the police station, the victim complained to the SSP office on Monday. SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan instructed the police station to investigate and take action.
