After some time, she gave birth to a daughter and her in-laws started harassing her further. On November 22, her in-laws together beat her badly and also tried to kill her by strangulating her. On the complaint of neighbors, UP 112 PRB came to the in-laws house and saved him. The family members from his maternal home admitted him to a private nursing home in Konch for treatment. Regarding this matter, the police on Monday started investigation by filing a report against the accused husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law Bhuri Devi, brother-in-law Krishna Kumar, sister-in-law Pooja under relevant sections of BNS and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act.
