East Champaran, May 10 (HIST). Miscreants attacked the police team in Jamla village of Mufasil police station area of the district. During this period, many soldiers including three trainee inspectors were injured. It has been told that an accused of Nagar police station, Abhishek Singh, a resident of Jamla village of Mufasil police station, is accused of chain snatching, the police team had gone to arrest him. On the confirmed information that the said accused was in the village, the police reached the village and reached his house. Surrounded and took the accused into custody. Meanwhile, some anti-social elements including his family members chased him away and tried to snatch the keys of the police vehicle. Along with this, the police team was attacked, in which PSI Shashi Ranjan Kumar, Gopal Kumar and female PSI Anita Kumari were injured.
In the case, Mufasil police station incharge Manish Kumar has filed an FIR on his own statement. It has been told that the team of city and mofusil police station had gone along with city inspector Rakesh Bhaskar to arrest Abhishek Singh, a resident of Jamla village, accused of chain snatching in a case of city police station. Meanwhile, 20-25 unidentified people including Abhishek's father Rampukar Singh, brother Rajan Singh uncle, disrupted the government work and attacked the police team, in which three policemen were injured.
