Attack in Moscow shopping mall, 60 people dead so far, 145 seriously injured

The death toll in the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, the capital of Russia, has reached 60. The number is expected to increase. 145 people are said to be injured.

This attack happened yesterday evening. Islamic State has taken responsibility for this. Five terrorists wearing army uniform fired indiscriminately and threw bombs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed grief over the incident. He said that we condemn the terrorist attack in Moscow. Our condolences are with the families of the victims. In this hour of grief, India stands in solidarity with the government and people of Russia.

Islamic State attacked a large gathering of Christians in the city of Krasnogorsk on the outskirts of the Russian capital Moscow, killing and wounding hundreds and causing widespread destruction at the site before retreating to safe havens. After the attack the terrorists fled from the spot.

Russia's Federal Security Service said the explosions caused a fire in the hall. Special forces, police and riot control teams reached the spot and rescued 100 people trapped in the basement. The injured were taken to the hospital in more than 70 ambulances. There is no news of any terrorist being killed or captured. Police have started investigating this terrorist attack.
