Lok Sabha Elections 2024: BJP's alliance has broken in another state. Actually, BJP has announced to end its alliance with Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) in Sikkim. Sikkim BJP State President D.R. Thapa said that the party will contest the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections alone in the state. Meanwhile, SKM leader Jacob Khaling Rai said that in the last elections we had formed an alliance with BJP in the interest of the country and the state.

Earlier on Saturday, a meeting was held between Sikkim Pradesh BJP President DR Thapa and SKM leaders regarding seat distribution at BJP headquarters in Delhi. Where no consensus could be reached between the leaders of both the parties. After the meeting, Thapa gave a statement to the media in Rangpo area of Sikkim that the alliance with SKM is over. Meanwhile, on Sunday the BJP announced its fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. In this list, the party has made Kangana Ranaut the candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha seat of Himachal Pradesh.
