Attachment notice pasted on the house of the main accused in the ration dealer murder case

Hathas, 08 July (HS). The main accused in the ration dealer murder case in the district is still out of police custody. The police has also announced a reward of Rs 50,000 on him. On Monday, on the orders of the court, the police pasted a confiscation notice at the house of the absconding main accused under Section 82/83. While pasting the notice, the police also made an announcement by beating drums.

According to the information, ration dealer Yogesh Upadhyay, son of Lalaram Upadhyay, resident of village Dhourpur of Kotwali Hathras Junction area, was shot dead on 13 June last month. The deceased's brother had lodged a case in Hathras Junction Kotwali in this matter. Police had arrested three accused in this case, but the main accused Jeetu Thakur, resident of Paharpur, is still out of police's reach. Protests were held at many places against the murder of Yogesh. A protest was also held at the Superintendent of Police office.

The police has announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for the arrest of the main accused Jeetu Thakur. Not only this, today the police has taken action against him under section 82/83 after getting an order from the court and has pasted a confiscation notice. During this, a public announcement was also made regarding the accused. The police said that the police are also conducting continuous raids in search of the absconding accused Jeetu.
