Ranchi, August 27 (HS). The court of Special Judge PK Sharma of ATS Court on Tuesday convicted People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) supremo Dinesh Gop and sentenced him to two years of rigorous imprisonment.
The ATS court has given this verdict after the completion of the debate in the case related to levying money by threatening death. The court has also imposed a fine of twenty thousand rupees on him. The court has said in its order that if Dinesh Gop does not pay the fine amount, he will have to serve an additional six months of sentence. The ATS presented six witnesses and several evidences in the court, on the basis of which the court has declared Dinesh Gop guilty.
Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had registered an FIR against Dinesh Gop in the year 2023. Whose case number is 02/2023. A case was registered against Dinesh Gop accusing him under section 385 of IPC and 17 (CLA) Act. Currently, Dinesh Gop is in jail. More than 100 serious criminal cases of murder, kidnapping, ransom and levy are registered against him.
