After the incident, the protesting crowd in North 24 Parganas vandalized the house of the panchayat member and the alleged accused and the shop of his relative in Madhyamgram.

According to media reports, when the Trinamool Congress leader asked the victim's family to 'resolve' the incident, people got angry. During this, the victim's father said that the accused is from our village. I cannot even imagine that he can do something like this. He said that my 10-year-old daughter was coming from home to the shop. During that time he beat her up. I demand strict punishment for him.

In this incident, the police took immediate action and arrested the accused youth. Police said that a panchayat member allegedly raped a minor on Saturday night in Rajwadi area of ​​Rohanda Panchayat. After this incident came to light, the local people started protesting in front of the house of the alleged accused. On the other hand, the Trinamool leader allegedly intervened in this incident and asked for reconciliation, which angered the people. After the violent protest, police and Rapid Action Force were deployed in the area and tear gas shells were fired to disperse the crowd.

On the other hand, in a government hospital in Birbhum, a nurse was giving a drip to a patient at 8.30 pm, when the patient molested her. The police immediately arrested the accused. The accused Abbas Uddin was taken to the hospital on a stretcher due to high fever. The nurse alleges that while she was giving the drip to the patient, the patient touched her inappropriately and used abusive language. After informing the police about this incident, a written complaint has been lodged at the Ilambazar police station and an investigation has been started.

A lab technician has been arrested for allegedly molesting a minor at a government hospital in West Bengal's Howrah district last week. The family said the minor was admitted to the government hospital last week and was abused.
