While Nifty spot fluctuated between 22465.10 and 22653.75, it closed at 22530.70, down 42.05 points. Funds made huge purchases in shares of Adani Group's speciality companies when Adani Group announced the creation of a fund.

Metal stocks rally on signs of infrastructure boost: Jindal Stainless, NMDC, Vedanta gain
