Assistant Administrative Officer arrested for taking bribe of twelve thousand rupees | News India

Jaipur, 28 September (Hindustan Reporter). Taking action on Saturday, the Udaipur Special Unit team of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Chandramohan Goswami, Assistant Administrative Officer (Incharge Physical Verification Team No. 32), Office Directorate Inspection Department, Jaipur, while taking a bribe of twelve thousand rupees from the complainant.

Anti-Corruption Bureau Director General of Police, Dr. Ravi Prakash Mehra said that the complainant complained to the Udaipur Special Unit team of ACB that during the physical verification, departmental action was taken by registering an FIR against him in the police station by finding deficiencies in the sports material and making allegations in the audit report. Assistant Administrative Officer Chandramohan Goswami is demanding a bribe of fifteen thousand rupees by threatening to send it in further writing.

While verifying the complaint under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Rajeev Joshi, the Udaipur Special Unit team of ACB, while taking trap action, Assistant Administrative Officer Chandramohan Goswami was sent through online UPI. He has been arrested for taking bribe of twelve thousand rupees through transaction. It is noteworthy that even during the verification of the complaint, the accused Assistant Administrative Officer Chandramohan Goswami had collected Rs 3,000 as bribe from the complainant.
