Kangana Ranaut vs Simranjit Singh Mann : Former Punjab MP and Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) leader Simranjit Singh Mann on Thursday made controversial remarks against MP Kangana Ranaut, which has created a stir in political circles. Mann's remarks come days after Kangana Ranaut alleged that “rapes” had taken place during the farmers' protest.
Kangana Ranaut has a lot of experience
Simranjit Singh Mann said, “You can ask Kangana Ranaut how rape happens so that people can understand how rape happens. She has a lot of experience in this.” Mann made this remark while reacting to BJP MP Kangana Ranaut's recent comments on the farmers' protest.
Recently, the MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh said in an interview that if India's leadership was not strong, the farmers' protest could have taken the form of a Bangladesh-like crisis in the country. Kangana Ranaut had also alleged that “bodies were hanging” and “rapes” were taking place during the farmers' protest that lasted for almost a year. She also accused China and the US of being involved in a 'conspiracy'.
It seems this country will never stop trivialising rape, today this senior politician compared rape to riding a bicycle, no wonder rape and violence against women for entertainment, is so deeply rooted in the psyche of this patriarchal nation that it is casually used to tease or spite. … pic.twitter.com/ZHHWPEXawq

After Simranjit Mann's controversial statement, now Kangana Ranaut has reacted
Now Kangana has given a different answer to this. She has said that the actor's voice is being suppressed. Kangana Ranaut wrote in a long post on her Twitter that “Today when this senior politician is comparing rape to cycling, it is no surprise that rape and violence against women for entertainment is so deeply ingrained in the psyche of a male-dominated country.”
